Dee Mathews Try a little light
reading. I finally got the courage to publish my 5 short stories that have
placed in various writing contests the last few years along with a few that
a friend wrote. All are purely fantasy....from cats to roses and dragons and
even a bit of horror...
Fred Dubson Fred Dubson is a storyteller and to be honest a compulsive writer. Born in Urbana, Illinois in a small four block neighborhood, he was always the knight, or wizard, never interested in being a cowboy or Indian. As he grew so did his thirst for writing. With authors such as, Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and Ed Greenwood under his bed and on bookshelves, he soon started writing his own stories. The world of fantasy had captured him. Knights, dragons, dwarves and elves sprung from the pages. Though Fred has written many short stories, novellas and novels none had been published till he took that almighty chance and submitted a short story, Dragon’s Tale, to Dragon’s Tooth Publishing.
Fred's first story, A Dragon's Tale, has been published in an Anthology of 10 stories
entitled, Illuminated Manuscripts, Ten Magical Tales.
